1. Pupils must report to school on the day school reopens excepts for special reasons.


1.1 Pupils must be in school by 6:30/7:00am to tidy up their classrooms and observe silence hour ( reading silently ) before
assembly.


1.2 Pupils must be in class before registration. Anyone who comes to school after the registration is marked will be
marked absent.


1.3 Parents must provide all necessary writing materials for pupils and ensure that they bring them to school all the time.


1.4 Parents/guardians must sign their children’s homework and encourage them to take good care of their textbooks and exercise books when they send them home so that they will not soil or tear the books.

2. Pupils have to participate in all school activities unless the child has special reasons.


2.1 Parents/guardians must inform the school/class teacher of any unusual or serious health problems in their wards.


2.2 Do not bring a sick child to school, if the child has to be in school inform the class teacher personally before you leave the child in school.


2.3 Do not give medicine to the pupil to bring to school and take on their own. If any child has to take medicine while in
school inform the class teacher.

3. Parents/Guardians must sew the approved style of the school uniform. Any different style will not be accepted.


3.1 School uniform must be worn with black shoes and white socks or black sandals(different colours of socks and shoes will not be tolerated.


3.2 On Physical Education(PE) days, PE attire must be worn with sneakers or trainers, not sandals. 


3.3 T-shirt and jeans trousers/skirt(for girls) must be worn on Fridays (normal blue jeans skirt or trousers not black jeans).


3.4 Boys must keep their hair neatly trimmed and combed. Girls must keep their braids neat and tidy. Those without
braids must trim and comb their hair before coming to school.


3.5 Fingernails should always be kept short and clean.


3.6 Parents/Guardians must ensure that their children brush their teeth before coming to school.

4. Discipline is part of education, for that matter parents/Guardians must help teachers to discipline their children, as serious offences such as fighting, bullying, petty theft or stealing, lying, disobeying teachers or any adult, walking out of class when angry, disrespect to seniors or prefects, use of profane languages and action to abuse anyone, deliberate damage to furniture, equipment or physical structure, failure to do homework or project work will lead to:
First Offence: counselling, sweeping classroom or dining hall, litter picking.
Second Offence: canning, scrubbing washroom
Third Offence: Suspension/Dismissal

5. Pupils are not supposed to go out of the school premises during lunch or snack breaks.


5.1 Parents must ensure that their children eat breakfast before coming to school.


5.2 The school serves lunch only.  Snack is available for sale.


5.3 Parents/Guardians who provide their own lunch must keep the food in a hot flask and not plastic bowls.

6. During the library period pupils are expected to read and handle books with care.


6.1 Tearing, leaving the books anywhere or writing in any of the books is prohibited.


6.2 Pupils have to go to the library with a small notebook and pencil to write new or difficult words they cannot pronounce or do not understand and look for the meaning in the dictionary or ask teachers later on.


6.3 Pupils must handle computers with care and do only what they have been instructed to do.


6.4 Do not take food, drinks, or biscuits to the ICT lab. When you are caught eating you will leave the lab and stand outside till the lesson is over.

7. Parents/Guardians of pupils travelling abroad during the school days should inform in writing the school authority.


7.1 Any child who will be absent from school for a term without permission will repeat the class.

8. Parents/Guardians are advised to visit their wards in school to find out from their teachers how they are performing. If the performance is not all that encouraging, the teacher will advise parents on what to do.


8.1 Do not bring mobile phones or any gadgets to school.

9. Pupils should not bring any harmful weapons to school. Anyone found in possession of any weapons will be suspended.


9.1 Boys should not enter girls’ toilets or otherwise.


9.2 Anyone found harassing a friend sexually or writing love letters will be suspended.

10. Fees will not be refunded when a child is withdrawn from school. Full payment of fees will be made before cumulative records will be given out.

11. Any parent who will come to school to insult, fight or assault a teacher or any worker in the school will be reported to the police and the child dismissed from the school.

12. If any parent/guardian has a problem with any teacher, he/she must report the issue to the school authority and not take the law into their own hands to argue with teachers in the presence of the children.
